Vesper Books And Wine is the brainchild of Symatha Duggan. First brought to fruition in Austin, Texas in 2012, but truly surfaced earth in 2020 when she met her life partner, Rob Wilson. Vesper Books And Wine is a Cookbook shop and Wine Bar located in the Core City, Neighborhood of Detroit, MI. Nestled in an old late 1800's Detroit Savings Bank, Vesper is more than just a shop, it's a third space focused on hospitality and ritual. A hyper-curated selection of cookbooks, beverage books and all things fermentation and farming. When it comes to the wine side of things, there is one key factor that we focus on. 'Intentionality'. Working wirh small producers aligning the same goals of pushing towards biodynamics, regenerative farming and minimal intervention. Natural and living wines and always with a story.
